Māori and Pacific Health Research Prize
HealtheX 2023 is incredibly excited to introduce the Māori and Pacific Health Research Prize. This is a $500 prize for the best 10-minute oral presentation for a project that contributes towards Māori and Pacific health research or knowledge. The deadline for submissions for this prize is Friday August 11th.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this prize you must:
– Have submitted an abstract to HealtheX 2023 (abstract submission can be found here).
– Have chosen 10 minute oral presentation as your first choice of presentation type.
– Be doing research that specifically forwards Māori and Pacific health research.
If you wish to be considered for the prize, after submitting your abstract please email healthexabstract@auckland.ac.nz with the subject title “[Your Name] – Māori and Pacific Health Research Prize Submission” and include a brief (100 word max) summary on how your research and presentation specifically forwards Māori and Pacific health research.
Further Details
The prize is being developed in conjuction with relevant staff and student groups. Marking criteria and judges for the prize are still under discussion, but will be decided upon by these staff and students.
